At, The Laser Clinique, we have invested in the latest revolutionary Super Laser Hair Removal (SLHR) technologies offering the combined benefits of the Trio Laser.  Our innovative laser machine has the three most effective laser wavelengths Alex, Diode and NdYAG into a single applicator, simultaneously targeting different tissue depths and anatomical structures within the hair follicle.

Our laser machine has the 3 most effective laser wavelengths combined into a single hand piece, which simultaneously work in the different depth of hair follicle to achieve better efficacy and ensure the safe & comprehensive hair removal treatment. Our laser is suitable for all Fitzpatrick Skin Types (1-6).

These lasers are characterized by their wavelength, measured in nanometers (nm):

Is Laser Hair Removal Safe?

The primary principle behind laser hair removal is Selective Photothermolysis (SPTL), a precise microsurgery technique, the matching of a specific wavelength of light and pulse duration to obtain optimal effect on a targeted tissue with minimal effect on surrounding tissue.

Preparing for laser hair removal?

Prior to starting any treatment, a full and free consultation takes place to ensure that there are no contra-indications to prevent the commencement of treatment, this includes, pregnancy, nursing or diabetic.

Other general preparations include –

Avoid other hair removal methods such as plucking, waxing and electrolysis which can disturb the hair follicle, it should be avoided at least 4 weeks before treatment.

Avoid unnecessary sun exposure, self-tanning products on areas to be treated, 1 month before and after treatment.

Do not apply Retinol or Retinoic acid-containing creams/lotions, peeling agents or diamond peel 1 week before your treatment.

Avoid any activities prior to coming in for treatment that will make you hot and sweaty, such as exercising, swimming or going to spas and saunas.

People with keloid scars, cold sores, moles tattoos, healing problems, active infections, open lesions, or permanent makeup in that area cannot undergo laser hair removal.

Laser treatments do not “melt” fillers or botox so they can be injected 2 weeks before laser or at least 2 weeks after the laser treatment once the skin has healed.

Laser Hair Removal face aftercare?

Below are some instructions that need to be followed to ensure effective treatments –

Avoid sun exposure, fake tanning, sun beds in between and 4 weeks after the treatment.

Do not pluck, wax or thread during laser hair removal sessions however you can trim and shave the areas and in this time exfoliate 3 times a week at least.

Do not use chemical peels on the treated areas for at least 2 weeks.

Use rich moisturizer to the treated area daily, we highly recommend the glo-ing range of products.

Use SPF 30+ daily.

How long will it last and how many sessions or treatments will i need?

Laser Hair Removal, is permanent reduction of hair, however it does vary from individual to individual.  A full course of 6-8 treatments should result in a permanent reduction of hair growth; however, this is dependent upon individual skin tone and hair. An annual top up session is recommended for maintenance.

Where can Laser Hair Removal be carried out and how much does it cost?

Permanent Laser Hair Removal can be carried out on a number of places such as the upper lip, cheek, chin, face, forhead, bikini, underarm, arms, legs, Brazilian, Stomach, Chest, Abs, Hollywood amongst others. The costs and prices of the treatments will vary, but you can find full details on all the different packages of Laser Hair Removal.

What are laser hair removal stages of hair growth?

All face and body hair goes through 3 distinct phases of growth: Anagen, Catagen & Telogen.

The Anagen (active) phase is most effective for laser hair reduction results because this is when the hair is still attached to the blood supply and is fully pigmented. ‘Inactive’ hair follicles like, Telogen (transition) and Catagen (resting) can be treated as they become ‘active’ over time throughout the treatment sessions.
